When you ask people to explain curling, you will probably hear: Isn't that the sport with a broom and a stone that you have to slide on the ice?" Although this is partly natural, curling consists of much more than that.
Curling is a precision sport played on the ice or on the skating rink. The goal is to slide stones across the ice to a target area on the other side of the track. The stone is made of granite and has a special shape, where one side is flat and the other side is rounded. This allows them to twist while sliding over the ice, which is called the "curl".
The main objective from the start is to get the stones as close as possible to the center of the target area, while at the same time trying to displace the opponent's stones. Curling requires strategy, precision and teamwork, and is a sport that is practiced both recreationally and competitively.

At Flitz-Events we offer the curling clinic at different levels. For example, you can do the curling clinic in mini-competition form, but you can always opt for a real competition as it is also played according to the official rules.
Join the curling club and learn the rules and basic technique of the sport. A unique workshop that your friends, colleagues or teammates will talk about for a long time.
We recommend wearing warm clothing. It can be cold during the curling clinic. You don't have to bring your skates, you can just come on your own shoes. You will of course go out on the ice, but you don't have to wear skates. We do recommend that you dress sporty and take the cold into account.
