Rules of ultimate frisbee
- Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport in which two teams of seven players play against each other.
- The object of the game is to score points by throwing the Frisbee disc into the opponent's endzone.
- The game begins with a tee off, called a “pull,” in which one player on one team throws the Frisbee to the other side of the field.
- A player may only hold the Frisbee when he/she is holding it. If the Frisbee becomes loose, another player may pick it up.
- If a player throws the Frisbee, another player on the same team may catch it. However, if the Frisbee hits the ground or is caught by a player on the opposing team, it is the opposing team's turn to throw the Frisbee.
- A player may only hold the Frisbee for ten seconds before having to throw it away.
- A point is scored when a player on one team throws the Frisbee into the opponent's endzone and it cannot be caught by a player on the other team.
- The match ends when one of the teams has scored a certain number of points, or when time has expired.
