Robinson Crusoe is a book by the English writer Daniel Defoe. Experiencing an expedition on an Island. It is a diary (expedition) of Robinson Crusoe, the main part of which takes place on the beach of an unknown island where he ends up after a shipwreck.

The Scheveningen Robinson Crusoe Expedition is a popular program that has been running in Scheveningen and on location since 2021. Robinson revolves around several teams stranded on a remote island and forced to survive through building, team-building, and survival. Participants are divided into multiple teams and must complete challenges to prove who is the strongest and most resilient. Ultimately, one team remains, declared the winner of the Scheveningen Expedition—the true Robinson Crusoe.
