Parking Scheveningen
Flitz events is located in the middle of the seaside resort of Scheveningen, making Scheveningen very easy to reach. Scheveningen is one of the few places where you can still park for free until a certain time.
There are various parking options available in Scheveningen, both paid and free. Paid parking lots are often located closer to the beach, but it is also possible to park for free in one of the parking lots within walking distance of the beach.
There are several parking garages near the beach, where you can park for a fee. There are also parking spaces available on the street, but paid parking often applies here. Please note that the parking spaces can be busy in high season and that it is advisable to reserve or park in time.
In addition, it is also possible to use public transport options, such as the tram or bus. There are regular connections to Scheveningen and there are stops near the beach. So you don't have to worry about parking and you can travel to the beach in an easy way.
Directions Scheveningen by car
On summer days, traffic to Scheveningen can be quite busy, which is why the municipality of Scheveningen uses extra traffic controllers. In the direction of Scheveningen it is wise to follow the directions of the traffic controllers.
From the highway:
Scheveningen-Bad via the Prins Clausplein, the A1, the N4 (Sijtwendetunnel), S14, Van Alkemadelaan and Zwolsestraat.
NB: If you are using a navigation system, keep to “Zwolsestraat 426”.

Street parking in Scheveningen harbor
Starting in the Havenkwartier is paid parking from 13.00 p.m. On the Schokkerweg, Treilerdwarsweg, Vissershavenweg, Visafslagweg, Kranenburgweg, Boeistraat, Gordingstraat, Steigerstraat and the Dr. Lelykade between Datheenstraat and Kranenburgweg with a maximum parking time of two hours.
Unlimited parking applies in the rest of Scheveningen, rate € 1.70 / hour.
- Geuzenkwartier and Statenkwartier: Mon to Sun from 13.00 pm to midnight.
- Havenkwartier: Mon to Sun from 18.00 pm to midnight.
Please note: The coastal strip regulation applies in the Vissershavenstraat and a small part of the Vissershavenweg (see above).
Parking on the beach
Want to park along the beach? Then park along the Strandweg in 1 of the 256 parking spaces or in 1 of the 300 parking spaces in the Noordelijk Havenhoofd car park. This is seen from the Kurhaus at the end of the beach road.
What does it cost?
- € 3,85 per hour in 2020.
- A day ticket for the car park costs € 23,25 in 2020.

By public transport to Scheveningen
By tram or bus from the stations The Hague Hollands Spoor (HS) and The Hague Central (CS) you get off the beach within 15 minutes.

With the coach to Scheveningen
There are reserved places for coaches for long-term parking. There are also places where passengers can get in and out. No parking fee has to be paid on the reserved places.
