What is a lip dub?

A lip dub is a music video filmed in one fluid take, without interruptions.

The activity always starts with an introduction for the whole group, in which we clearly explain what you are going to do. Then groups are formed, and you can dress up. We bring a lot of fun dressing up stuff!

Then we will play the song that we are going to use for the lip dub. This song is chosen in advance. Each group is then assigned a director. This person will give you a place on the route that we are going to use for the lip dub. You will also be given the lyrics and see which part of the song you have.

Together with all groups we determine the route on location, and we end up all in the picture! Often you are assigned two places as a group. We will practice this first, so that everyone knows exactly what he or she has to do in the group. At the end everything is filmed in one long take!

We often get the question: Do you really have to sing along? No, of course you don't have to! It is of course fun, but it also works well to come up with a choreography with your group based on the song lyrics. It often works well to act out the sentences you have. This can be in a funny or serious way.
